RED VINE (Vitis vinifera leaf extract)

The activity of the extract is given by the phenolic antioxidants and tonics products.

The dry of Vitis vinifera extract is used for its multiple action: firstly has antioxidant activity, then it is historically known its protective action on the venous microcirculation and counteracts the effect of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) that inhibits the growth cycle at the level of the hair follicle.

It is chemically constituted by flavonoids (rutin, quercetin, isoquercetina, campferolo) and anthocyanosides, responsible for the activity angio protector which is undertaken through a decrease in the permeability of the capillaries and an increase of their resistance. Noteworthy are also the antioxidant and protective properties to cell membranes.

The vitis vinifera extract has antioxidant effect by stimulating the pilosebaceous functions to restore shine and vitality to the hair.

Thanks to the presence of polyphenols and bioflavonoids, possesses antioxidant properties and anti-inflammatory. The bioflavonoids in particular, play an important action at the capillary level, preventing the formation of edema and swelling helping to protect and strengthen the capillary walls. It has anti-aging properties, protecting the collagen degradation.

Resveratrol is an active ingredient found in some fruits like Red Vine. Resveratrol is also widely used in cosmetic formulations. It is in fact one of the most potent antioxidants present in the market and is known to prolong the life of cells, thanks to its ability to stimulate the production of the longevity proteins: the sirtuins. Abundantly present in the cells of centenarians subjects, sirtuins are the target of new active ingredients anti-aging cosmetics.

The grape extract is a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and anti-free radicals. It contains resveratrol. The most important activity of resveratrol is that antioxidant or the ability to counter the radical species of oxygen (ROS) that cause oxidative stress in cells following which the most important cellular components suffer irreversible damage. It is the ROS that cause aging of the skin with sagging skin, wrinkles and other degenerative processes. An antioxidant may act by preventing the formation of ROS chelating the iron and copper ions that catalyze the formation or blocking their action with a reaction that converts the radical into a stable species. Resveratrol has also soothing-antiinflammatory properties, smoothing and improves peripheral circulation (microcirculation). It also blocks effectively and selectively UVB radiation. It stimulates cell proliferation and collagen synthesis, inhibits the enzymes involved in the degradation of collagen giving tone to the skin.

It is used in numerous facials and body treatments: anti-wrinkle, moisturizing, anti stress, smoothing and anti-cellulite. Products that contain grapes and / or wine extracts are therefore able to prevent and fight skin blemishes, are perfect anti-aging and make the skin smooth, firmer and brighter. Resveratrol has also recently been studied for its brightening activity, or rather anti-stain, especially against age-related skin spots.

In phytocomplex proanthocyanidins they are also present: These type of flavonoid substances have proved to be very interesting as antioxidants agents. They are particularly suitable, as well as in the treatment of peripheral circulatory disorders, for the prevention of chronic diseases with character degenerative and for the processes of skin aging.
