reactivation of the pineal gland

Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland in the center of the brain that performs various vital functions for our body. Its natural production, however, is considerably reduced to between the ages of forty and fifty. This starts the aging process with all its well-known consequences. The exact beginning and development of this process varies from person to person, depending on the propensity, inheritance, general constitution, lifestyle ....

Melatonin can be used to influence, in a positive way, this process. After thirty years of study and research, the scientists are confident that their findings, as well as their conclusions are correct. No experimentation made from them showed negative side effects that may arise from the assimilation of melatonin. Melatonin is a non-toxic amino acid; even people who have freely tested and to which it was provided doses of 1,000 milligrams per day have assimilated the product without any contraindication.
Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland located in the central part of the brain. Its production is regulated by the light that filters through the retina and transmits a signal to the hypothalamus in the midbrain. At a time when the intensity of light in an environment decreases below a certain level, it starts the generation of melatonin by the pineal gland.
The hypothalamus coat the internal clock role in this phase, and every day the light that enters our eyes sets in motion this mechanism.
Each night the hypothalamus  or better to say the so-called suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) - sends a signal to the pineal gland and in this way the "intelligent gland" quantifies the amount of melatonin that must be generated.
Since melatonin is generated during the dark phases, the duration of daylight affect its ebb and flow that, in turn, can affect the cycles of the sleep / wake, also known as circadian rhythms. At age 45, the normal activity of the pineal gland begins to shrink generating a decrease of melatonin production equal to half.
Older one gets and the more decreases melatonin generation. Between seventy and eighty years, the amount of melatonin in the blood stream becomes undetectable. Taking melatonin at bedtime can help you fall asleep more easily. It also helps restore sleep so safe without causing addiction or without losing the effect with prolonged use.
Multiple studies have attested that melatonin based on natural products not only helps restore the sleep-wake rhythm but it supports the proper functioning of the immune system, promotes positive state of mind, strengthening the natural ability of the body to cope with the situations that cause stress. This hormone plays an important role in the control of the circadian cycle as well as in the transformations of body cycles during 24 hours, in particular of the sleep cycle.
Melatonin has a significant role in sexual development processes and controlling sexual stages in both men and women. In the animal realities ascertains the beginning and the end of the mating period by controlling the production of the respective sex hormones. Multiple trials have clearly demonstrated that the sexual behavior of rats could be often conditioned by the modification of the day-night cycle through the use of artificial light.

Melatonin is a hormone that flows from different conditions and therefore affects all the other parts of the body. Its main activity is to control the levels of all other hormones in the blood and maintain their stability (homeostasis) by helping them in their respective functions. A variation in melatonin share also causes a change in the levels of other hormones.

A regular level of melatonin ensures that the immune system finds and cancels instantly aggressive carriers, microbes or viruses. Being one of the most important antioxidants, melatonin is very valid for the neutralization of the so-called free radicals, which are responsible for the origin of cancer cells. Melatonin, which can overcome any barrier and penetrate in each cell is the best destroyer of free radicals known.
