Karitè: ingredient of Breast Up

The Karitè is a tall trees tree whose botanical name is Butyrospermum parkii, in honor of Mungo Park, who first became known in Europe the advantages of Shea Butter. It was included in the formulation of Breast Up because it contains:

 

  • Vitamin A (1400 U/9): a nutritional deficiency of the same can determine pathological conditions in the epithelial layer and hyperkeratosis in particular dermal clinically recognizable with forms desquamative and squamous metaplasia of some mucous membranes such as the mouth and on the genitals. Develops an important role in the regularization of the skin cell renewal in the activity of the dermal collagen fibers as immunomodulatory preventive skin aging.
  • Vitamin E: more appropriately defined as a physiological antioxidant, prevents and reduces the formation of free radicals, does not act at the level ectodermic but only where the sub epidermal capillary circulation is modified and where the connective tissue is amended as follows: if the skin is inelastic and mature, if the sebaceous activity is reduced, vitamin E must not be scarce.
  • Vitamin F: fatty acids of vitamin F make faster wound healing and in normal conditions initiate the turnover of fats epithelial cells improving the maintenance of the organism and the defense of the skin. Unsaponifiable, promotes the composition of young collagen of the dermis, has healing, anti-SSc, protective of sunlight, eudermic, soothing, calming, filming and prophylactic, preventive decongestants and anti-cellulites and stretch marks.
  • Phytosterols: stimulate the biological units to provide collagen and elastin. Inside of our dermis there are specific cells that have the task of synthesizing collagen which is the protein responsible for the freshness and flexuosity of our skin: the first molecule that is composed of fibroblast is a fibrous protein that is called tropocolla-
    gen (native soluble collagen). The tropocollagen, once yielded by the cellular space, tends to agglomerate and to compose a large fiber, the collagen. Fibroblasts also produce elastin that is responsible for the elasticity of the skin, as well as hyaluronic acid that gives firmness to the same.
The properties of karitè

The karitè owns multiple properties. Indeed it is nourishing, emollient, eudermic, moisturizing. It constitutes an impalpable protective membrane on the skin that allows it to breathe without, however, disperse excess humidity and brings eudermic specific substances.

Adjuvant and protective after specific treatments for psoriasis, cures, ichthyosiform dermatitis, ulcers, fissures of the hands and foot, foot hyperkeratosis, hyperkeratosis of the elbows, arms, knees and soothing in case of hemorrhoids.

Shea Butter: when is especially recommended

Shea Butter is particularly suitable in different situations. In fact it is used to protect the skin for people who practice sports, especially for sports such as cycling, swimming, running, ie all activities where the skin is particularly committed to atmospheric agents and processes of dehydration. The Karitè is especially recommended for the absorption of ecchymoses and as protection against the cold, for aching articulations and rheumatism.

It can be used as a sunscreen (with protection equal to 5) with the big advantage of not having the need to make use of rehydration products. Thanks to the protective coating that is modeled on the skin, is contrasted the dehydration. It is also applied as an after sun, allowing a longer life to tan.

Thanks to vitamin F contained naturally in Butter of Karitè, it is recommended for massages against the cellulitis and stretch marks.
Especially recommended for dry lips, chapped, subject to herpes. Shea Butter is able to rehydrate all tissues. Many protective products contain small amounts of Butter of Karitè which often appear to be the only component really suitable for such use.

Recommended as an ideal product for smoothing with beards hard and difficult, can be used with a brush to produce an emollient foam applicable on the skin. The properties of Karitè Butter allow an efficacious shave, without irritation and lesions, will prevent the development of disagreeable manifestation of pili torti. Excellent results are obtained for the smoothing head total.

Used regularly, acts as a strong anti wrinkles, preventing also many other signs of oxidation of the skin and slowing the inevitable progressive atrophy of the dermis.
Shea Butter gives a helping hand to revitalize dry hair and enervated. Its properties are high in UVA and UVB filters, protect the hair from solar radiation and avoids the phenomenon of desiccation, of weakening and fading of dyes. The constant use before bathing in the sea or pool, protects the hair from salt. It takes a few applications to restore their strength and protect them from the chlorine.

In recent dermatology, at the Butter of Karitè are recognized qualities healing, softening, stretch marks, anti-wrinkle, firming, moisturizing, antioxidant, soothing, restorative and protective but exclusive peculiarity of shea butter, the secret that makes it truly unique is its high content of unsaponifiables (from 12% to 18%), substances that are essential and necessary for the protection of the natural elasticity of the skin. Its use is recommended for pregnant women, because it prevents the composition of stretch marks on the abdomen and breasts, for delicate and sensitive skin of the baby, against the reddening due to the approach with the diaper.

The Karitè is a 100% vegetable fat obtained by cold pressing of an African tree seeds, Butyrospermum parkii. Once extracted, shea butter has the appearance of a solid mass white-ivory; has good organoleptic properties, a low acid value and a high content of vitamin E. It is important to remember that the primary component of shea butter is represented by fatty acids (about 45-48%), followed by phytosterols, substances pro vitaminic, triterpene glycol, allantoin, resin esters and so-called unsaponifiables (such as karisterol and parkeol), this mix of components confers natural stability to the final product and ensure its preservation in time (no more than thirty-six months) without the use of synthetic substances.

Shea Butter: when it is particularly recommended

The Shea Butter is rich in curative substances and vitamins (A, B, E and F), in unsaturated fatty acids (oleic and linoleic acid) and saturated (palmitic and stearic) and the unsaponi-
fiable fraction (3.5-17 %). Thanks to these properties, during the years has gained a great consideration and many fields of use both locally and internationally. Among them we can indicate the most important:

  • It is one of the major sources of fat of vegetable origin used locally as table oil and for the preparation of meals
  • Is used as a medicament, alone or in combination with other vegetable substances
  • The Africans call it “Tree of youth”, and use it as a balm for massage against the rheumatism, pains, burns, the sunburns, ulceration and irritation of the skin. According to tradition, seems that favors the increase of local circulation thus allowing a re-oxygenation of skin tissue and optimizing the elimination of metabolic wastes
  • Inspired after being thrown on the embers, Shea Butter is effective against colds and coughs. From it is obtained an unguent beneficial against diseases such as scabies, hemorrhoids and various dermatoses
  • May be useful as a decongestant and against bronchopneumonia and increases the tonicity of the skin, in particular the maintenance of its natural elasticity and freshness (thanks to the very high content of unsaponifiables substances essential and indispensable from 12% to 18%)
  • It is a natural anti-wrinkle and anti-aging for the face and the décolleté; makes it less intense dermal aging and sweetens wrinkles that already exist and covering them completely in most cases and is able to restore the mature skin with elasticity and firmness
  • Has a good filtration of sunlight and for this reason it becomes an excellent protective and preventive of epidermal damage caused from light exposure, such as the formation of free radicals and premature appearance of wrinkles as well as the damage caused by excessive exposure to the sun often cause of reddening sun. It appears with a buttery texture but melts at body temperature and can consequently be spread easily and pleasantly on the skin. Its use is recommended during pregnancy because it prevents the formation of stretch marks on the abdomen and breasts. During lactation prevents the formation of rhagades and also protects the child skin from the redness caused by contact with the diaper
  • Softens callosities of the both, hands and feet of those who practice sports preventing the formation of unaesthetic and painful ulcerations. It is also an excellent remedy for irritation of the razor and shave softener as a compress that as efficacious soothing and moisturizing aftershave
  • Regenerates and softens the skin weakened after a cast and after a long stillness and coverage, helping to eliminate dead surface cells that have been accumulating. In people who are in bed for a long time, if applied several times a day with delicate massage, softens and tones the skin of the areas on which weighs the body, avoiding the formation of irritation, redness and sores. Used constantly counteracts dryness skin of the elbow and knee. It’s great to preserve and protect the skin from aggressive frost during the winter season.
