Characteristics and properties

Bee pollen: natural ingredient of WonderupThe bee pollen is all over the world. It is not made by bees, but they simply picked the flowers and constitutes the raw material for the production of royal jelly.
Pollen is considered by many the food nearer to perfection present on earth in terms of full range of nutrients. Each grain of pollen is the biological unit contains everything that is necessary for life: vitamins, proteins (35% is made of proteins, much as beans and lentils, five to seven times more protein than in meat) , twenty of twenty-three known amino acids, carbohydrates, enzymes, coenzymes, sugars, growth hormones, minerals, trace elements (more than 25 oligoelements composing 3.8% of pollen and include all essential trace element), lipids (fats most are essential fatty acids, 70% alpha-linolenic (omega 3), 3-4% of the linoleic (omega 6), 16-17% monounsaturated and saturated). In the nucleus of its cell, the pollen contains the secret of life: DNA and RNA molecules that determine the function of all living cells.

He was chosen as an ingredient in Wonderup as a general tonic for the body. Assists in all processes of development and growth, thereby contributing both to the general welfare of the organism and more specifically to the development of the mammary glands of the breast.

Medium composition for 100 g.: 60.5 g water., Protein 20 g., Fat 4.5 g., Sugars 15 g., Vitamin A, vitamins of the B group, vitamin C, D, E, PP, K (practically all the vitamins known, although B12 is present in low percentages), minerals (calcium, manganese, phosphorus, iron, sodium, potassium, aluminum, magnesium, copper), enzymes and coenzymes, pantothenic acid, nicotinic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, acid ascorbic (Vitamin C), pigments, xanthophyll, carotene and sterols.

The pollen is uniformly rich in carotenoids, bioflavonoids and phytosterols, but the exact profile is variable depending on the source of plants and the growth conditions. However, beta-carotene, lycopene, beta-sitosterol, quercetin, the isorhamnetin, rutin are always present in analysis of the pollen. Bioflavonoids are a major reason for many health benefits of Pollen.

Bioflavonoids are a major class of phytoestrogens, widely distributed in food and medicinal plants. The “three-ring basic skeleton” of all flavonoids consists of two benzene rings connected to a pyran ring.

Bee pollen: natural ingredient of WonderupThere are thousands of variations, based on the different components that are related to positions around the rings. Epidemiological studies proved that higher is the intake of bioflavonoids, lower is the risk of cardiovascular disease. Many of bioflavonoids are potent antioxidants.
Bioflavonoids lower cholesterol, stabilize and strengthen capillaries, reduce inflammation, fight against free radicals and are antiviral, antibacterial and anticancer. Quercetin is an antihistaminic, anti-asthmatic and anti-allergenic and is therefore very useful in the treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchitis, sinusitis, colds, flu and allergies. Rutin tonifies capillaries, helping varicose veins, venous insufficiency, hemorrhoids and hypertension. The pollen has so many properties, thus being a tonic, nutritive and invigorating (strengthens and nourishes the entire body).

It is used to provide resistance and strength. Used by athletes to increase energy, strength and fatigue resistance and muscular effort. Effective in combating fatigue, tiredness, exhaustion, depression. Restores vitality and vigor, useful in convalescence and recovery after illness or surgery.
