Can Can:

List of some love chemical mediators

Seratonin

Neurotransmitter produced in the midbrain and brain stem, which gives a contribution to make to try contentment, including that after orgasm. Can increase the desire, operating in conjunction with dopamine, although the therapies that increase the levels of serotonin, such as some antidepressants, may make it more difficult to reach orgasm.

Olipeptide alfa-melanocita

Generated by the pituitary gland, this hormone also acts as a neurotransmitter. Injected in male subjects during a test has given rise to an erection.

Oxytocin

It is a hormone released by the pituitary gland, ovaries and testes. Gives a contribution to activate the production of milk, uterine contractions at birth and the pelvic during orgasm. It also helps to create the bond between parents and children.

Dopamine

Perhaps the most important neurotransmitter involved in desire. The neurons in the midbrain that generate it “color” the sensations of the outside world, creating what is perceived as a sexy mood.

Pheromones

Scientists are confident that these chemical agents produced in the axillary glands, carrier sexual stimuli that are able to be caught (but only unconsciously) by others. Have been isolated from animals, not yet in humans.

Epinephrine Norepinephrine

These neurotransmitters, adrenal glands, nerves in the spinal cord and brain, promote arousal and orgasm. As the natural adrenaline, make the heart beat stronger and increase the pressure.

Vasoactive intestinal polypeptide

Protein that is found in the intestine and in the human brain and operates in a similar way to nitric oxide: opens the blood vessels, stimulating an erection and libido.

Estrogen

Produced in the ovaries and brain, estrogens regulate ovulation. Contribute to the perception of the desire of the woman and perhaps even stimulating the man, almost certainly, the release of dopamine.

Testosterone

Released for the most part by the generative organs and in small amounts by the brain in women is rapidly converted to estrogen. In man is the major hormone of desire, creates a feeling of well-being and positive force, if missing, both men and women experience a drop in libido.

Nitric Oxide

When we are excited, biological units in the area of the genitals produce this chemical agent that dilates blood vessels and increases blood flow.
