Reductup Men:

Conjugated Linoleic Acid: ingred. of Reductup Men

Conjugated Linoleic Acid: in Reductup Men (CLA al 75%) (Nutraceuticals)

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a polyunsaturated fatty acid which is naturally present in small amount in food. The human body has the ability to generate it. Is properly assimilated and integrated with the diet. Low levels of CLA are required to provide benefits.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid: ingredient of Reductup MenSome years ago, the identification of conjugated linoleic acid was the clamoro-
us in the scientific community. A fatty acid content in red meat and cheeses exhibi-
ted anti-carcinogenic activity, demon-
strating, even at low doses, to be able to inhibit proliferation of neoplastic cells.

Conjugated linoleic acid has the ability to promote the growth of lean body mass in relation to the fat, reducing fat deposits and especially the abdominal, thereby increasing muscle growth.
Were exhibited evidence in support of conjugated linoleic acid to limit the atherosclerosis and also on the positive effects in relation diabetes and immune system.

Conjugated linoleic acid seems acting in two modes, by inhibiting the lipoprotein lipase, the enzyme which is responsible to hydrolyze the triglycerides contained in chylomicrons and VLDL lipoproteins, converting them into monoglycerides and fatty making absorbable. The CLA also increases the activity of enzymes that release the triglyceri-
des from the deposits with a consequential induction of the organism to use the fat stores as an energy source.

Conjugated linoleic acid seems to be able to increase the activity of insulin so that the fatty acids and glucose can better cross the cell membranes of the muscles and be dragged away from adipose tissue. As a result it acquires an increase in lean body mass in relation to fat mass.
Conjugated Linoleic Acid: ingredient of Reductup MenRecent studies have shown that the content of conjugated linoleic acid present in red meat, butter and cheese has gradually lowe-
red due also to the custom of feeding the animals mechani-
cally. Meat from bovines fed on pasture traditionally been possess a conjugated linoleic acid content up to five times higher.

The first study carried out on man in 1996 inherent effects of conjugated linoleic acid has demonstrated that, by adding it to the diet, allows a 20% loss of body fat in three months, without another change the type of diet.
Conjugated linoleic acid shown to possess antioxidant properties and prevent muscular atony with anticatabolic effect. For this reason it has become popular among the body-builder due to the ability to increase the transport of glucose and fatty acids from adipose tissue. Conjugated linoleic acid is extracted especially from sunflower seeds.

In a study conducted by the Nutrition Department of Kraft Foods of rats fed a diet containing 1.5% CLA, have not been made in evidence any toxic effects even after 36 weeks of treatment. This study showed that use of CLA as a supplement is safe even at high doses.

Interactions with drugs

There are no known interactions with drugs.

Conjugated linoleic acid is not recommended as a supplement in pregnant and lactating because there is no sufficient data security.
