Manplus Power:

Glucosamine: natural oligosaccharide

Erection of the penis: mechanism of action

In nature, the biological-chemical process that causes the erection of the penis involves the release of nitric oxide to corpus cavernosum in interior of the body. Usually this mode is started by the sexual impulse.

Nitric oxide is a compound similar to valence hormone which has the task of increasing the signal caused by the impulse nervous, decifrandosi at a later time in the release of "c-GMP", which proceeds in a direct way on the relaxation of the musculature corpus cavernosum smooth, thus supporting blood flow favoring the erection. Other vasodilators nitrates such as nitroglycerin and nitroprusside, which are usually used for the therapy of pathologies of the heart go towards a demolition natural releasing nitric oxide.

Nitric oxide is produced in the human body starting from the amino acid arginine as a function of an oxidase activities differentiated Ca2 + dependent, defined nitric oxide synthesis. It is in force in many mammalian tissues. Once formed, nitric oxide is propagated from the nucleus of those surroundings, where it joins the whole of guanylate cyclase, putting into action, generates “c-GMP”, directed neurotonic erection.

In fact, the glucosamine oligosaccharide possesses the characteristics to increase the release of nitric oxide and it is for this reason that the process of action differs from that of many active pharmaceutical ingredients which, on the contrary act as blockers of the enzyme phosphodiesterase - 5, which proceeds to inactivate the c-GMP erection by blocking the erection.

Special clinical and experimental studies

The characteristic of the glucosamine oligosaccharide can be exploited for a variety of applications which, in addition to the alterations of type dysfunction, may extend to the sports field and the control of the synthesis and regulation of lipocit by the expression of the gene PPAR r.

Erectile alteration

The properties of glucosamine was detected in a clinical study of 63 patients with a greater thirty years age plagued by problems of dysfunction. Of these, fifty patients were married and lived with his wife, seven were not married, three were separated, remarried two and a widower.
The average age of patients and their wives appeared to be 45.1 + / - 6.4 and 42.2 + / - 5.4. The sexual activity was instead evaluated before and after therapy, using 5 categories of “International Index of Erectile Function-5” (IIEF-5).

Were distributed 300 mg. glucosamine oligosaccharide for a week: the effects were compared with those obtained previously therapy. The elements obtained have provided evidence that 300 and 450 mg. of glucosamine have product development statistically significant (p › 0.001) in patients characterized by erectile dysfunction, also including satisfaction, orgasmic function and erectile function.

Were achieved clinical and pre-clinical safety and activity studies on natural glucosamine and based on the results obtained, can be considered a raw material of natural origin innovative and able to assist in activities closely related to male sexuality. The glucosamine oligosaccharide could play a direct role in Manplus Power, integrating and applications, especially in male erectile dysfunction.
